As writers, we have a responsibility not only to speak out against political injustice, but to allocate resources to meaningful, urgent causes. That’s why we’re teaming up with the good people of @eckleburgreview and @splitlipthemag for an open mic night to benefit @immdefense.

All ticket sales will be donated to the @immdefense, a New York-based nonprofit offering political advocacy, legal aid, and community defense resources to those affected by ICE raids and deportations. We look forward to sharing a lively night of literature with readers, editors, and community members, and to standing up with all of you for a safe, equal New York City.
