A festival to celebrate Italy’s liberation day from fascism with a day of talking about resistance and a blow out all night party to celebrate it. Every year on April 25, Italy stops to commemorate its liberation from fascism and to remember the importance of resistance. This year, we're bringing that spirit to New York City, with DJ Eugene Hutz from Gogol Bordello fame and many others!
This is a universal story. Wherever people organize against authoritarianism and stand up for each other, that same impulse is alive. New York is a city built by people from everywhere, and it is the perfect place to have this conversation and raise money for our non-profit partner: Make the Road New York. For more than 25 years, Make the Road New York has built the power of immigrant and working-class communities to achieve dignity and justice.
