In The Encounter, a young couple must decide if they are still lovers or only partners in crime in the wake of a deadly hit and run.  Nora and Jay have only just met but their actions after fleeing an accident will determine if they are working to stay together or simply not to take the fall.  Cast and crew are invited to celebrate the launch of the film before the start of its festival season.
