We’re a member-led organization working to take land out of the private market and bring it under democratic, community and tenant control. In 2024, we worked with a group of longtime tenants to take back their building from a neglectful landlord and we are now converting it to an affordable cooperative. This summer, we bought a commercial building and are transforming it into the East Brooklyn Liberation Center, a movement space for community organizing, the arts, and worker-owned businesses.
