Unpublished Starrs is a free, unpretentious poetry reading series centering queer and trans emerging poets in NYC.  This showcase of highlighted poets will share unpublished work, de-emphasizing the correlation of artistic legitimacy with publishing and academia.  Every Unpublished Starrs reading raises funds for Parlé Endeavors, a Brooklyn-based organization that supports teens and young adults gain access to mentorship, poetry performance opportunities, and other creative outlets.
